All of BCC's core operations—production, engineering, customer service, sales, and quality management—are now operating from our facility in York, Pennsylvania. Our quality manager is on-site with the production team to ensure every unit meets the highest standard.
With all core operations under one roof, dealers benefit from streamlined communication and faster fulfilment. When you call in with a time-sensitive need, the BCC experts answering your questions are just steps away from the production floor, which translates to quick responses and more accurate shipping estimates.
In late 2026 or early 2027, BCC's online parts ordering will move to a new Shopify platform built to streamline the way you source parts. The portal will remain gated, and you'll log in with your existing credentials, so there's no new account to set up. We'll share a full announcement with launch details closer to rollout.
With things slowing down for the season, it's a good moment to take care of something that's easy to put off during the summer rush: returning your 05G compressor cores.
Every time you buy a rebuilt 05G compressor from BCC, there's a core deposit of about $900 on your account. You get that back as a credit once the old core makes it back to our York facility.

Fleet Service Specialists started in 2007 as a family-owned business in Pomona, California, specializing in bus air conditioning and maintenance. Mobile service is at the heart of what they do; instead of waiting for buses to come to them, their team goes on-site to transit and school bus fleets across Southern California, working on a wide range of bus types and HVAC systems. That includes LA Metro, where more than 800 BCC systems are in service.
Fleet Service Specialists has been a BCC partner since 2019, and today they're one of our more active dealers in the territory. Fleets running BCC equipment in the region know Juan Bonilla and Veronica Castro by name.
The company has grown a lot since its early days, and has taken on large contracts with school districts including Banning, Capistrano and Orange Unified. Fleet Service Specialists is also the preferred service shop for bus dealers such as Bus West, Creative Bus Sales and A-Z Bus Sales, and they lend a hand to other dealers on school bus A/C installations.
Ask around Southern California and you'll hear the same thing: when a fleet needs support, Fleet Service Specialists respond quickly and step in wherever they're needed. We're proud to count them among our BCC super dealer partners.
We've had a few team changes this quarter. Here's an overview so you know who to reach going forward.
Kevin Miller officially retired from his role as Technical Services Supervisor at the end of September. We thank Kevin for his work and wish him a well-earned retirement!
Josh Kunkle has stepped into the supervisor role. Many dealers will already know Josh from his time on the Service Hotline, in warranty, and as a field service representative. Jerry Rorrer has joined the team to take over Josh's previous role, and brings service and sales experience from the residential and commercial air conditioning field.
On the sales side, James Smith has moved into the role of Southern Region Sales Manager, covering the Southeast. Reach him at James.Smith@bcc-hvac.com
