BCC dealers are at the front line of our customer relations. We rely on them to communicate the benefits of BCC products to consumers that we’re unable to reach ourselves, and to support them through the lifecycle of our products and services. We put a great deal of trust in them, which is why not just anyone can become a BCC dealer. It requires motivation, determination, and a track record of success.
Once they’re a part of our network, BCC stands with our dealers 100% of the way. We provide our dealers with a multitude of support and resources that allow them to do their job most effectively. From web portals filled with information, to training on our latest equipment, making sure they have all the information they need is a massive priority for us. BCC and its dealers working hand in hand is paramount to meeting our customers’ HVAC needs.
How do you become a BCC dealer?
The process is kicked off by contacting a local field service representative or calling our customer service hotline. Once we’ve reviewed the request, we open up a conversation with the prospective dealer. This involves gauging their seriousness, and inspecting their region to ensure there’s a market for their services. Then there’s an application to be filled out and a credit check is required. Finally, a two-year dealer agreement with mutual obligations is signed, they’re set up with access to the parts and warranty portals, and thus a new BCC dealer is born.
Once a member of the BCC dealer network, we offer a number of training options to get our new dealers up to speed. BCC sales managers are available for online video tutorials by request and availability. And for dealers working with new equipment for the first time, local field service representatives are available to visit the dealer in person and offer hands-on training.
All this works toward integrating our new dealers into our ecosystem as seamlessly as possible.
How to be a better BCC dealer
Once a dealer has become established and comfortable, they’re allowed to operate with autonomy by conducting their business and pursuing business leads how they see fit. And since we whole-heartedly believe that stronger dealers means a stronger BCC, we provide our dealers with resources to help them service their customers.
Our new Fleet Locator will be a large part of this. The Fleet Locator, which will be launching this year, allows dealers to search for customers in their area who have BCC equipment, and receive updates when new ones appear. This allows dealers to keep track of BCC products throughout their life-cycle, and to be proactive about contacting these customers about maintenance issues and updating their equipment.
BCC is also working on a brand new online training system with the goal of giving dealers more knowledge on the products they’re selling and an inside look at how BCC operates.
BCC and dealers: Better together
As we bring more dealers into the BCC network, we want to ensure that each and every one of them has the information and equipment they need to hit the ground running. Hands-on training provides them with the skills and knowledge they need to start operating effectively. Digital tools like our Fleet Locator allow established dealers to pursue leads and get ahead on product maintenance and upgrades. Strong dealers mean a strong BCC, and we’re getting stronger every day.
