ERP Transformation Update
3:22

We want to share a quick update on the progress we’re making in our SAP transformation—an important step forward in making it simpler and more efficient to do business with us.

This transformation is focused on improving how we manage orders, coordinate across teams, and share information. The goal is straightforward: create a more consistent, reliable, and connected experience for you. Most importantly, however, our focus is on ensuring a smooth transition with no disruption to your business with us.

Where we are now

Our transformation is progressing strongly as we modernize our systems to better serve you. Key advancements include optimizing system integration to create a more seamless flow of order, inventory, and service information; validating critical end-to-end processes such as order management, delivery, and invoicing; and preparing for real-world user validation to ensure our processes fully support your equipment and parts needs.

We are also investing in team readiness and training, improving data quality and alignment to provide greater visibility into pricing, product availability, and delivery expectations, and carefully preparing our teams and systems to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of service from day one.

Business continuity and safeguards

As we move through the final stages of preparation, we are focused on validating the processes that matter most to you, including order management, delivery, and invoicing. We are also putting in place the necessary safeguards to ensure a controlled and stable transition:

- Detailed cutover and transition planning

- Dedicated support teams in place during go-live

- Contingency plans to quickly address any issues

- Enhanced monitoring and rapid escalation path

- These efforts are preparing our teams, processes, and systems for success.

Our focus: keeping business running smoothly

As we move closer to deployment, our priority is maintaining stability across day-to-day operations. We are taking a structured approach to planning, testing, and contingency readiness to minimize disruption and ensure continuity across customer and supplier interactions.

What this means for you

As these changes come into place, Equipment Customers can expect a simpler and more consistent experience when working with us, along with faster and more reliable access to information, improved coordination across our teams, and a more streamlined end-to-end customer journey.

For our Parts Customers, there will be no changes at this stage to how you place orders or interact with us, and your day-to-day operations should continue as usual. If any adjustments become necessary in the future, we will communicate them clearly and well in advance to ensure a smooth transition.

We are committed to keeping communication clear and proactive throughout this transformation and will provide advance notice of any changes that may affect how you interact with us. This investment is focused on building a stronger, more responsive organization while enhancing the service, consistency, and partnership our customers and stakeholders can expect from us in the future.

Thank you for your continued trust and collaboration.

Sincerely,
BCC Transformation Team

I’m passionate about finding smarter, more effective ways to solve problems—whether in business, technology, or the arts. As the Brand Strategy & Customer Experience Director at Bus Climate Control (BCC), I’ve helped lead the consolidation of our Bus Division operations into a new facility in West York, PA. I oversee Customer Service, Technical Support/Publications, Parts Sales, Dealer Development, and Branding/Marketing, to help ensure a seamless experience for our customers. Beyond BCC, I have a deep appreciation for creativity and technical problem-solving. As a partner at Studio 117, I’ve worked on projects ranging from recording services for over 1,200 artists to major audio production initiatives with Fortune 25 tech companies, focusing on cloud-based voice services and AI. My team has also developed music therapy programs for major hospital systems, educational curricula for media departments, and acoustical solutions for spaces like the Yorktowne Hotel Ballrooms and Collusion Tap Works. I also run a smaller passion project called Resin8 York, where I specialize in low-code software development, web design, mechanical design, and 3D printing. I have also recently begun to invest into downtown York real estate. Outside of work, I stay involved in my community, serving as the Allocations Chair for the Cultural Alliance board, a Board Director at Leadership York, and a member of the Occupational Advisory Committees for York Tech and HACC.
